Small is Beautiful!
We are a small centre with never more than 100 children in our camp. Small is definitely beautiful for holidays at Chateau Beaumont Summer Camp; our staff quickly get to know all the campers and their needs. No one is neglected at Chateau Beaumont.
Our staff members are British or French and all are fluent English speakers. There are great opportunities for every camper to improve his or her ability in French without any pressure.
Our visitors are given as much freedom of expression as possible whilst cared for in a well organised, safe and structured camp where mutual respect is always fostered. Campers are skilfully encouraged to participate and realise their potential, but never coerced into activities that are not for them; they make many friends and develop team skills whilst simply having fun. All our visitors are achievers; our camp is not a competition to find winners.
Tranquil & Safe
We are located in a beautiful, tranquil spot in Northern France on the borders of Normandy and the Loire. The Chateau sits on the crest of a hill surrounded by 10 acres of grounds. We have safely provided children and young people with a great holiday experience at our Chateau in France since 1996. We are open throughout the year (February-November) with school groups visiting during term time and individual children in the summer holidays.
