Spring is Sprung
Spring is sprung,
The grass is riz,
I wonder how the boidies is
Well actually, truth to tell, it's been a tad parky and more than a little soggy 'round the edges. But as the Spring flowers start popping and the paintwork dries on the newly re-furb'd Entertainments Hall, we come to think of Nature in all her glory: of babbling brooks, of songbirds singing their blessed little 'earts out, of buds bursting to reveal a glimpse of the green that hints at the true splendour of Summer still to come . . . oh yeah, and what's that hippity hoppity sound . . .?
A limpy lamb? . . . Nope!
An ailing kangaroo? . . . Nope!
IT'S THE EASTER BUNNY of course!!
Oh yesss! Easter's on its way, and it'll be Lent no more - not sure what you lent; I'm afraid I lent little . . . very little
It's true, those long, dark, dreary nights of Winter are almost at an end and to look forward to there's EASTER, and chocolate, and Spring and warmer weather, and bonnets (what?!) - well apparently, it's traditional or some such, (personally I'd rather have a new jacket and a pair of sunnies but wadda I know?) - and you can almost see Summer, which means proper holidays.
We've still got some spaces left for a few weeks at Camp Beaumont France so c'mon and sign up before the places all go.
We do have the ultimate summer recovery from a heavy school year and exams!!
There's been a lot of interest in the tennis camp this year. Why not let us know if there's anything in particular that you'd like to improve, or whether as a novice you need general/all 'round coaching. Remember, with our specialist holidays there's always time to fit in other excursions or activities, especially if you stay for more than one week. There's the local market - check out the site - or the magical Disneyland to explore; or Paris; but between the local markets and Paris, there are other excursions that are brilliant for a bit of French culture that's fun and frankly flippin' astounding!
So I'm thinking France, I'm thinking small, boutique-type shops, I'm thinking French bloomin'-mindedness . . .
Oh yes, it's gotta be: Le Mont St Michel, et l'anniversaire 1300 heureux!
Who in their right mind would look at a chunk of granite - which Mount-Tombe basically is - sitting in the middle of a bay, and even consider the possibility of building a sanctuary on the top? Well actually Aubert, Bishop of Avranche got the word from Archangel St Michael - with the added encouragement of having a hole poked in his skull - and off he jolly well went . . . in October 708, ie, not much in the way of JCBs, cranes or pile drivers to help out.
And now you can tour this 'Eighth Wonder of the World', uncovering its secrets and learning the mysteries that surround it. During your free time you can browse the shops that line the narrow, stepped lane that leads up to the Abbey and practise your French on the shopkeepers too.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
HAPPY NEW YEAR
WELCOME TO 2008 FROM EVERYONE AT CAMP BEAUMONT FRANCE
I hope Santa brought you everything you wanted, and that you're getting over any lurgies that may have struck you down over the hols.
But tell me, is the thought of the bleak dark nights of January and February as icky as a binful of tissues after a bad headcold? Then don't think about that; think about this instead:

The sunny delights of a Chateau . . . in France . . . with an open air pool . . . and SUN - remember what that is?!
And we want you to have the best ever holiday so we limit the number of people who stay at the Chateau at any one time so everyone gets to do what they want to, because you're not sharing all of the activities with hundreds of other visitors.

Welcome to the Blog and Merry Christmas
Joyeux Noel and Bienvenue . . .
. . . to the new Chateau Beaumont Summer Camp blog!
We wish you all a Wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.
But, when all you're left with is a bin bag of old wrap, a kilo of turkey and nagging indigestion, with nothing but the prospect of a British winter to send you back to school, we may have something for you to look forward to . . .
Check out what's on offer at our beautiful Chateau Summer Camp, book a holiday in the French sun, and give yourself something to look forward in the summer holidays.
Whatever you're into, you'll have a brilliant time, from combat courses to shopping in Paris; from quads and horse riding to beauty and wellbeing; and for those long hot summer days, what could be better than a dip in the pool?
Check out the best sights in France - Mont St Michel or the Eiffel Tower, or get up close and personal with a furry friend - no, (probably) NOT your new mates. And for the gamers among you, you can still get your fix of Wii or Playstation.
